Telehealth
I offer telehealth sessions using a secure video platform for those who desire telehealth services. You will need a computer or smartphone, a private area, and a good internet connection. Click the Telehealth FAQ button above for more information on how the telehealth platform works.
Cancellations
If you must cancel an appointment, please do so as soon as possible. If you are unable to cancel at least 48 hours in advance, you will be charged a $50 fee for the session.
To cancel an appointment, send me an e-mail or cancel your appointment through the client portal.
Confidentiality and Out-of-Session Contact
Richmonders, it is possible that we will occasionally see each other around town, at the grocery store, at a restaurant, or in some other capacity. If this occurs, please know that I will not engage you in conversation to protect the privacy of our relationship. This is an ethical requirement for me that is intended to keep your confidentiality. You however, are not bound by this rule and can initiate contact with me if you desire.
Emergencies
Please be aware that I do not offer 24-hour emergency care or crisis-intervention services. If you are in crisis and are in danger please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
You can also call or text the suicide crisis hotline or call your local mental health crisis number. A non-exhaustive list of crisis resource numbers are provided below for your convenience.
